Comments:
I graduated from University of Toledo in 1983 and went active duty in the Army in 1984. I served around the globe and loved what I did and the soldiers I served with everyday.
I have lived in Europe 18 years and 3 in Asia. I have also been a part of combat operations in Iraq and Afghanistan. Charging across desserts or battlefields anywhere has been an enormous high. There is nothing like commanding tanks in battle. I also love leading the soldiers that I have served with. Taking care of soldiers and their families has been a highlight in my life.
My children are the treasure of my life. My kids have loved living around the world even when Dad was deployed. My two sons have followed my path and are Army Officers in Texas and Korea. My daughter is a lost sole in PA, brilliant but lost! I pray one day she will put her God given talents to work.
I am now studying Psychology in Florida and will one day work as a social worker for the Veterans Administration and hopefully help our Veterans, they deserve and need our respect and support.
May God bless you all keep you safe.
