Been pursuing fashion design since learning sewing from Ms. Carter on the 3rd fl.! And just to think, I got in that class just to be in a room full of girls! Jeffrey "Jazz" Phifer and I stuck with it after school, and still remain active in the industry. We're both tailors at Macy's. He's at Metro Center, and I'm at Pentagon City. I also have a clothing line that I show all over the country. I do design and manufacturing for other lines, as well. I remember one day an ice cream truck pulled up in the plaza parking lot to make a delivery to Langley. Why dude go in and leave his truck unlocked! We emptied out ALL the ice cream, and passed it out to everybody! The trip part was when dude came back out, and saw everybody sitting along the wall eating ice cream, and just looking at him! I know he lost his job that day!
