School Story:
When thinking of Tech, oh, there're so many stories to tell. There was the time when I thought having a "girl friend" was a nusance. The school was filled with so many varying types of beautiful girls. Yet there was no one that I was (to quote Jerry in a Seinfeld episode) "gaga" over. There were cute girls; funny girls; academic girls but no one unusally unique to me. Until.... tah dah .... the one day .... the one moment .... for whatever reason, it happened .... gaga .... she was a stunner and a complete distraction for me. And, what made her even more alluring was her own sense of ordinary. Yes, she considered herself simple and plain which I translated as naturally beautiful. I was clumsily in love ... rehearsing in my mind what to say to her ... dreaming that she would be attracted to my amateur one-liners... although it did take awhile for me to muster up the nerve to initiate some sort of meaningful interaction, she was everything I'd imagined. For a moment in my life, McKinley Tech was my high school of love! :)
