I had no idea Mary had passed on. She was such a pleasant person. Never heard her say a bad word about anyone. Her spirit was just so humble. Yes, that smile and those dimples could brighten any room. May she rest in peace.

Mary was an absolute sweetheart; I agree with Veronica, not an ill word spoken. The worlds needs more pleasant, even tempered people like her. All my memories of her are fond memories. Thank God for blessing us with her presence.

She was such a beautiful person inside and out. I'm so grateful to have known her and to call her friend.

I introduced Mike to Mary as Mike was a very good friend of mine. We all grew up in the same neighborhood and went to the same schools through High School. I was Mike's best man in his wedding and they were inseparable until her passing. May she rest in peace.

Mary and I went to Taft Jr. High together. While her outer demeanor was subdued and quiet, she had a very funny sense of humor and would keep me laughing. When she started dating Mike I always thought that they were the perfect couple and as Walt stated the two were inseparable. When I ran into Mike and he informed me of her passing, I was shocked and saddened - but God knows best. Rest In Peace!

Mary and I became good friends because she married one of my good friends, Mike McCrae. Every girl in Langdon Elementary was in love with Mike because he was a fine brother (with that Michael Jackson bush) I remember running in to Mike and Mary several times, particularly at the gorcery store in Colmar Manor. Mary loved Mike and she loved her children.

Mike, I want to commend you for how you stood by and took care of your angel, your woman and your wife. I admire you for a love that was committed and enduring.
You and Mary set a high bar for the "until death do you part" portion of the marriage vows. Thank you for being such an example.

Mary - sleep on my sister, sleep on.

Love you so much,

Angelia Rowe Garner

I remember Mary well. She had a soft spoken demeanor, friendly personality and a gentle smile. Micheal, the bible says that a man that findth a wife finds a good thing. I know that you knew that in the way that you loved her.
