Renita was one of my best friends. We were school mates and church buddies. I think about her often.

She will always have a place in my heart; I miss her so.

Renita and I attended Bunker Hill Elementary School, Backus Junior High School and McKinley together. My nickname for her was Banana. Everytime I would call her that, she would just fall out laughing like there was no tomorrow.

I was a student at Bunker Hill with Renita as well. I entered as a transfer student from out of state and Renita befriended me immediately. It was a friendship I still appreciate today. At a most difficult time in my life, she was my ray of sunshine and that's how I continue to remember her. Rest in peace my faithful friend until we meet again.

I remember Renita from Bunker Hill Elementary, Backus Junior High, and Mckinley. She was the fastest girl and I the fastest boy at Bunker Hill. We would race all the time.

She was full of life, very intelligent, and a great friend.

I truly miss her.

May she rest in peace.
