I remember Pinkey as always happy and smiling. We use to always end up down Langdon Park pool during the summertime. I use to always tell her that I will see her
in the Olympics one day representing the USA women track
team. God always knows what's best.
Love you my sister

Pinkey- I was devasted to hear that you had passed away. While I remember your track days (I called you Pinkey 1 and Donna Woods Pinkey 2), I will never forget the Miss Taft pageant that we competed in. Your walk was like a gazelle --- smooth and effortless. Your smile exuded a radiance matched by none. I pray that your rest will be peaceful and sweet.

While you are gone, you will never be forgotten.

Angelia Rowe Garner

P.S. Dont worry, one of your classmates is working on your case.

It's been 30 years, but it feels like yesterday when I think back on your beautiful smile and fun-loving personality. You touched many lives. You will never be forgotten. Rest in peace.

A beautiful person who made a lasting impression on me at McKinley Tech..though I never knew you personally, God had a special mission for you to fulfill, and you fulfilled that destiny...I was devestated to read the news to learn that you are no longer with us, and my heart aches knowing this...even though you are not with us, I know that you are in heaven- looking down, smiling down on us with God's love. Gone, yes- but you will forever be with us in spirit.

May you rest in peace.

Always admired, I was impressed back in Taft Jr. High how you could be practicing in track but appear to be breathing easy. Run and not be weary forever. We miss you.
