Dear Jean and Darryle,

My heart goes out to both of you and your families.  Having lost a grandchild; I understand a portion of the pain you are suffering.  Someday you will ask God, will I ever get over this?  Your life will be changed forever and only faith in God's will, will be your only anchor.
I will keep you in my prayers asking that God gives you the strength to pass life's most rigorous test.  And please don't let anyone tell you it is time to get back to normal, there is no normal, a new normal with a gapping black hole is what you have now.  Fill that hole with your memories and love, maybe just then you can live with that empty hole.

May God bless you and keep you, May he shine his light of understanding upon you.

Love,

Mary

Jean, really there is no words only that I am praying for you and your family. In this time Jean you be good to yourself, and those tears may never stop.  I hope that memories of your son, bring a smile and laughter when you think of all  his many jokes, and pranks.  Nothing shakes a mother's LOVE.

God bless you Jean.

Well,

Here we are again, facing our life cycle's reality - though it never gets easier,
Daryl Bartley! What an impression he made on this 12th grader. Our own young Class of '79's Dapper Dan. I had a crush on him - his style caught my eye. It was his projected mature intelligence that made me think he was so cool... suited down, carrying that brief case every day. While we never became "friends" I will remember fondly that polite smile he'd shoot my way.

May his soul be at rest and at peace. May his family and close friends be consoled in their time of grief. Sincere condolences for the passing of another of our mates. Peace be still~

Dear, dear Angie, Michael, Otis - your Mom was one of our neighborhood Matriarchs who anchored our 20th Street span of Langdon Park!!

I will always hear in my heart her giggle and the way she'd say, "beneeda". I love you all and am so thankful to have had this long lasting family tie.

She will be missed (I literally thought she'd be here forever!). My sincerest condolences go out to you all who were her protectors and providers over these years. That little house on the edge of LP and your family witin will remain a special place for me.

Much love and prayer, Benita
