Oh no, not Mr. Wilder!  WOW, Mr. Wilder was a force to be reckoned with,  he stayed on us from the time we step in Mckinley 1976 - 1979 and beyoond.  Though he wanted to become Principle at Mckinley, it never happen, he did become Principle at HInes Jr. High, which is now gone, I believe Dunbar (could be wrong).

I use to see him, at the corner of Penn & 8th St, SE (Eastern Market), making sure all his students, after dismissal was heading to their destination!  He use to say, these kids were nothing like yall(LOL).

I must say he definately stayed on me!  As well as all of us, he wanted nothing but the best for all his students. Glad to have known such a special individual.  (REST IN PARIDISE) Mr. Wellington Wilder, one of the greatest who knew his students and his craft of teaching (Math) and (US)!!!

Mr. Wilder,  I will miss seeing you at all the Tech functions and around DC. You were a great class sponsor for the class of '79. Besides that, you were a cool homeroom teacher and didn't play no games with us!

RIP Mr. Wilder!
