Sharon Clark-Yapp was born on January 28, 1961 to the late Viola C. Benjamin in Brooklyn, NY. On Saturday, December 24, 2016, Sharon fell asleep in the Lord and awaits the resurrection when her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ returns. She was the fifth of eight children born to Viola Clark Benjamin.
She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Denovar “Kitt” Yapp; her two sons, Marcus D. Jay Jr. and Sharrod Jay; step children Shanee Marshavia Jay, Marcus D. Jay-Tabb; her sisters Kareema (Rev. Donald) Robinson, Helen Williams, Leslie Clark, Kathryn Clark, Rose Clark, her brothers, Jerome (Daisy) Clark and Willie Benjamin; Honorary sisters Freda (Donald) Clark and Patricia (Clinton) Lee; her grandson Steven Marcus Jay and his mother Stephanie Crawford; a special aunt Esther Richardson and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will never forget Sharon.

My sincere condolences and deepest sympathy to the Clark and Yapp families. Praying for comfort and strengrth for you all. Sharon was just all together a great person and spirit. She could turn a frown to a smile in 0.1 seconds. She will be truly missed but never forgotten.

WOW!, I'm very sadden to hear about Sharon, I really wasnt' aware of her passing until today. I grew up with Sharon cousins, and then we became friends. May GOD continue to bless the Clark-Yapp family, and allow the flow of Gods love be instill in us forever. Peace and blessing.
