Wow, where to begin, since Tech, my brother and I started a cleaning and maintenance company in Nov. 1979. We did that until 1985. Since then I've worked for various federal government contractors. I'm currently employed by Eagle Technologies, Inc. based in Lanham, MD.
I love my work, but most of all I love what Father GOD has done in my life and my family. I've been blessed w/a great wife of almost 28 years. Our anniversay is August 8th, so guess what, most likely we'll be out of town and unfortunately I'll probably miss the reunion. Our three children (they're all adults now - 26, 25, & 23) are all saved - Praise GOD and actively involved in various areas of the ministry at our church - High Calling Ministries in Ft. Washington, MD. An excellent ministry if your looking to make a positive change in your life or for a relevant, down to earth, and Word centered church family.
I lived in Kuwiat for 6 months in 1987 before most people in the US ever heard of or knew little about that Middle East country (this was prior to the Gulf war). It was an experience!
Most importantly, I've truly been BLESSED! Having the opportunity to see lives changed for the better is the greatest joy that I have. I wouldn't change anything over the past 30 years even though we've had our share of rough times like everyone else......I am truly THANKFUL to be living in 2009 and to know and hear how so many of us are still hangin in there! |

This is my story....
In the 10th grade I did the entire year at Tech.
In the 11th grade, I was at Tech half a day and at Washington Technical Institute (later aka UDC) the other half studing Computer Science.
In the 12th grade after I finished half a year of Goverment class, I had an 8:00am English class and was out of school by 9:00am going to work fulltime for BEST Products in Rockville, MD.
So therefore, I'm sure most of you don't remember me, because as much as I loved Tech I loved working and having my own cash more......
That's my story and I'm sticking to it :) |

This is our first grandson Montgomery S. Sturdivant (what a name) aka "Monty" born April 1, 2008. He's a joy!
Our company Eagle Technologies, Inc. has the destinction of being the only Physical Security firm to be awarded the US Department of Homeland Security Small Business Achievement Award twice. The photo is of my partner Nick Christiansen and his wife Angela and my wife, Helena and I at the DHS awards ceremony April 29, 2009.
