Please pray for Dana and their families.  This is another tough one ...

I am so sorry to hear the sad news concerning Keith.  He was an awesome dude!  I recall some fond memories we had while attending college together. I could always count on him to help me with my programming classes as he was great at writing code. Let's continue to lift his wife and family up in prayer.  Rest In peace my friend.

Classmates -

I recently posted about the loss of Keith Redding.  Unfortunately, I am saddened to say that his wife, Dana has also tested positive for Covid-19.  Dana had been home under self-quarantine for the required 14 days, and continues to remain in quarantine at home now.  The blessing is that she has not exhibited any of the symptoms of this virus!  Please pray for Dana's total healing, recovery and peace.  She lost her mom at the beginning of February; her husband and now this.

Per a message that Dana recently posted on Facebook, Keith was the 4th person in Maryland to lose the battle with Covid-19. She said he first started feeling ill on March 5, 2020.  He was admitted to the Fort Washington Medical Center, where he was diagnosed with pneumonia and tested. He was transferred to GW Hospital in DC, where he transitioned on March 25, 2020.  Because of the pandemic and mandate on social distancing, Dana is unsure of when she will be able to have a service or the memorial that he would be so deserving of.

She started a GoFundMe page, to establish a foundation for their grandchildren:

https://www.gofundme.com/f/keith-w-redding-covid19-family-fund?utm_source=customer&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=p_cf+share-flow-1

Class of ‘79 -

God is truly awesome!!!  Thank you so much for your prayers!!  Keith’s wife, Dana posted this update on her Facebook page today:

“Hey everyone, thanks so much for your thoughts, prayers, calls, text and fb messages, etc... I was cleared this weekend regarding Covid-19 by my HHP (Sat), then PG County Infectious Diseases (Sun), and confirmed today by the Dr. at Fort Belvior. I know that if you were in contact with someone who tested positive for Covid-19 to quarentine yourself for 14 days. I learned today that if you are within the same household as someone with Covid-19, you need to self quarentine for 14 days after they are cleared. Even though I have been cleared I was advised to continue to quarentine because I don't know if I am immune, so anyone I come in contact with who may have it I must maintain 6' social distance, keep grocery store visits to a minimum, wear a protective mask, etc... Anyway, be safe out there and God bless you all!”
